Permaframe Home Improvements has officially opened its second showroom, expanding its presence in South West England.
Permaframe’s new site at Hillier Garden Centre in Bath marks its first expansion in 25 years. The opening follows a period of growth, including a merger with sister company TWC Home Improvements, as Permaframe seeks to extend its reach across the region.
The firm, also part of the CO Retail Network, employs around 25 staff members, and the new showroom in Bath is expected to create five additional jobs, including sales and installation roles.
The site showcases Permaframe’s exclusive product collections. Visitors to the Hillier site can see Extreme Window and Envisage Windows first-hand, along with a range of Forte Composite doors and other home improvement solutions.
Speaking about the showroom’s opening, Co-Director of TWC and Permaframe, Joseph Heaton, said: “When we were looking for another showroom space for Permaframe, Hillier was at the top of our list. They are a big, reputable, and trusted name across southern England, and we’re excited to partner with such a well-loved household name.
“Whether you are looking to invest in your home, your garden or both, you can now get expert advice all in one place. We’re looking forward to welcoming Hillier and Permaframe customers, new and old, to the new showroom.”
Established in Frome in 1985, Permaframe has been at the heart of home improvements in the region for over 40 years, specialising in the installation of windows, doors, conservatories, orangeries, extensions and replacement roofs.
The tie-in with Hillier Garden Centre brings together two well-loved family-run firms and was a perfect match for all involved.
George Hillier, Hillier Chairman, said, “We’re very pleased to welcome Permaframe - another well-established, family-run brand - to Hillier Garden Centre Bath. Both companies share a similar ethos of quality products and services, and a keen emphasis on customer service, so it was a natural fit for us both.
“We’re proud to have, for many years, supported our customers in improving their gardens and homes, so it makes perfect sense to offer them the opportunity to find out more about how Permaframe can support them with a range of complementary services.”
