Trade Dads - Win A £4K Family Holiday

Fix Radio and TradePoint have launched a nationwide search for Trade Dad of the Year to celebrate the dads and father figures at the heart of Britain’s trade community.

Launched ahead of Father’s Day, Trade Dad of the Year is calling on wives, partners, children and loved ones to nominate the tradesmen who work hard with their hands and love even harder at home, whether they are dads, mentors or father figures who have stepped up when it mattered most.

Running across the Fix Radio Breakfast Show, the campaign will turn the station into a celebration of the people behind the tools, giving families the chance to share the stories of the trade dads who have shaped their lives, supported their homes and set an example through their work, care and commitment.

Nominations are open from 8-17 June, with entries submitted via the Fix Radio website and social channels. Throughout the campaign, the Breakfast Show will encourage listeners to put forward the dads, stepdads, grandads, mentors and father figures who deserve recognition.

The campaign will then see nominated callers celebrated live on the Breakfast Show from 15-19 June, with one caller each day winning a £200 TradePoint gift voucher.

Brad Hanson, host of the Bald Builders Breakfast Show said: “As a father of five, I know firsthand that balancing a trade and being a good dad takes incredible sacrifice. For years, I’ve wanted to shine a light on the hard-working dads on the tools. I can’t wait to honour these unsung heroes, and partnering with TradePoint ahead of Father’s Day is the perfect way to do it.”

On Friday, the overall Trade Dad of the Year will be crowned live on air, receiving an exclusive TradePoint gift bundle and a family holiday voucher worth up to £4,000.
