Mila has expanded its ProCore range with the launch of the new 220mm Door Handle, developed to meet growing demand for shorter backplate handles that suit modern door profiles.
Complementing the existing ProCore 240mm Door Handle, the new 220mm door handle gives fabricators and installers a high-performance solution that combines contemporary styling, reliable operation and broad system compatibility.
Suitable for use on uPVC, aluminium and composite profiles, it features a 220mm backplate with a slimline lever profile – creating a sleek, contemporary appearance that complements modern door systems and window hardware.
The handle is compatible with common door lock configurations, enabling straightforward specification and replacement without requiring changes to existing lock setups. Its cohesive styling also allows fabricators and homeowners to create a consistent design aesthetic across doors and windows.
A full suite of ProCore finishes is available so customers can specify matching hardware across an installation, with the 220mm door handle available in White, Satin Black, Anthracite Grey, Dark Chrome, Polished Gold, Brushed Stainless Steel, Chrome and Satin Chrome.
In addition, its ergonomic lever design provides comfortable operation, while separate internal and external spring cassettes ensure reliable lever return and long-term alignment, helping maintain smooth operation and prevent handle sag throughout the product lifecycle.
The ProCore 220mm Door Handle is available in lever/lever and lever/pad configurations, with PZ92 centres, and is supplied with screw and spindle packs for 44mm-70mm door profiles. This simplifies installation across a wide range of door thicknesses without the need for additional components.
It meets BS EN 1906:2012 requirements for 100,000 cycles and an 80kg lever pull, as well as BS EN 1670 Grade 5, with testing exceeding 480 hours of salt spray. (Dark Chrome variants meet BS EN 1670 Grade 4, with testing exceeding 240 hours of salt spray.)
As with all hardware in the ProCore range, the new handle is backed by Mila's 10-year mechanical guarantee, alongside a surface finish guarantee covering painted finishes for 10 years and decorative finishes for five years.
