AluFold Windows is celebrating one year of fabrication at its factory at Whitebirk Industrial Estate – a year marked by significant expansion, a growing 35-strong team and the addition of uPVC manufacturing.
The supply-only fabricator moved into its Blackburn facility in August 2025, initially focused exclusively on aluminium windows and doors. Just over 12 months later, AluFold has expanded its manufacturing footprint by more than 60%, from 56,457 sq/ft to 90,407 sq/ft.
The additional space has enabled the business to introduce a dedicated uPVC factory, increase production capacity and create a new despatch area to support its growing customer base.
AluFold now fabricates both aluminium and uPVC glazing systems, with its uPVC offering manufactured exclusively using Eurocell systems. This expanded range gives installers and contractors access to a wider choice of products through one supply-only fabrication partner.
The business has also grown to a team of 35 people, bringing together the manufacturing experience, technical knowledge and customer focus needed to support its expanding operation.
