Blinds in Glass Group has partnered with Lee Marriott and DUN Agency as part of plans to strengthen and restructure its southern sales operation.
According to BiGG, Marriott will work alongside Managing Director Ian Woolley to help develop a more structured sales infrastructure supporting the company’s expanding product portfolio.
Over the past 18 months, BiGG has added Apeer front doors, ThermINcoat membrane, VacuumIN hand-soldered vacuum leaded lights and Regency Triple® featuring Corning® Enlighten™ Glass to its product offer, alongside its existing blinds-in-glass systems and IGU manufacturing operation.
The company says Marriott will focus on supporting rollout of the portfolio across window and door businesses from the Midlands southwards.
“The BiGG product portfolio has evolved through Ian’s absolute commitment to delivering quality above all else, giving us a solid foundation on which to build future sales,” said Lee Marriott, Managing Director at DUN Agency.
“That quality ethos is more important now than ever before. With companies facing smaller markets and tighter margins, having access to products which come with the confidence you can only get with quality is crucial to long-term success.”
According to BiGG, the expanded portfolio has been selected to help customers address future lower U-value requirements across a range of glazing solutions.
Ian Woolley, Managing Director at Blinds in Glass Group, said: “Sticking to that quality ethos is not always easy, but it is fundamental to the way in which we do business at Blinds in Glass.”
“We’ve both been in this industry for many years and understand the damage that poor standards can do. Any savings you might make on cheaper products will always be eaten up by expensive remedials.”
Woolley added that Marriott’s involvement would help BiGG communicate its product strategy and delivery capabilities to a wider audience as market requirements continue to evolve.
