Midland Aluminium is celebrating a significant milestone as Sales Administrator Jon Sammons marks five years with the business.
Jon began his career as a bricklayer before joining the wider Affordable Windows Group, where he worked loading wagons at a depot. He joined Midland Aluminium in April 2021 in a sales administration role and has since seen his responsibilities develop considerably within the company, a trusted trade supplier of uPVC and aluminium systems.
Jon commented: “The team have trusted me to get involved in all sorts of different areas - marketing, accounts, all sorts. I never thought I'd be doing half of what I do now. But the variety is what keeps it interesting. I've also built real relationships with our customers over the last five years. They're not just dealing with Midland Aluminium, they're dealing with someone they know and trust - and that loyalty means a great deal.”
Director Jason Wootton added: “Jon has become a genuinely valued member of the team. From the moment he joined, he showed a real willingness to learn and get stuck in. His dedication to his customers and his readiness to take on new responsibilities has made a real difference to the business. We're delighted to be celebrating this milestone with him.”
Jon’s tenure reflects Midland Aluminium’s strong culture of staff retention, with many employees having been with the business for eight years or more. Looking ahead, he aims to continue developing within the company as Midland Aluminium seeks to grow its sales team and expand its network of trusted trade installers across the UK.
