There’s a brand new name in the software sector – but with a trusted and familiar name behind it.
The Fenestration Software Consultancy (FSC) is the new venture from Nick Bailey, who spent many years in both installations and sales at Business Micros, first as a senior technician and then as head of the sales team. Nick has set up his new company to offer independent, practical support to fenestration manufacturers and their customers and help them get more from their software, systems and processes.
He is focused primarily on the Evolution, EvoNET and Evo Satellite systems which are used so extensively across the industry, and brings the kind of expert knowledge and experience which can only come from being immersed in the software for almost 20 years.
Nick explained: “I have seen first-hand the issues and frustrations that fabricators go through with their IT packages and know all the pinch points that can cause them problems. More importantly, I know how to fix them. I also know how just many fabricators could be getting better value from their software if they utilised it more effectively, and I will be looking to demonstrate that.
He added: “FSC is not about sales or upselling – it’s about helping fabricators and installers make the most of what they already have. My approach is straightforward - listen, understand the problem, provide honest recommendations and help put practical improvements in place. I can help with user training, data maintenance, process improvement, and system configuration.
“Since I announced the launch of The Fenestration Software Consultancy, I’ve had several calls from fabricators who want me to come in and provide project support and problem solving and that will cover everything from reviewing how systems are being used and tidying up data, to improving workflows and simply helping untangle something that is not working as well as it should.
“I can deliver support remotely, on-site or through a mix of both, and I am flexible in terms of a quick conversation, a day of consultancy or ongoing help. I can also advise on wider software and IT tools that support day-to-day operations for fabricators and installers and help them optimise their systems.”
