Reynaers Launches GQA Course

Reynaers Aluminium UK has launched a new GQA-accredited training course designed to strengthen technical competency in the fabrication and installation of its aluminium window systems.

The new ‘Reynaers Windows Systems Overview’ course forms part of the company’s wider training programme aimed at supporting skills development and promoting consistent fabrication and installation standards across the supply chain.

The theory-based course focuses on four Reynaers window systems – SlimLine 38, SlimLine 68, ConceptSystem 77 and MasterLine 8 – and provides guidance on fabrication processes, installation techniques and regulatory compliance.

According to Reynaers, participants will gain a deeper understanding of fixing strategies, flush-fit detailing and preparation for double and triple glazing units. The course also covers how glazing options affect thermal performance, weight load and hardware requirements, alongside the importance of correct fixing positions to support alignment and long-term performance.

The impact of the Building Safety Act on glazing and window system specification is also included within the training, with additional insight into system testing and certification.

Paul Guest, Training Officer at Reynaers Aluminium UK, said: “At Reynaers we always aim to offer a complete package of support so that our customers feel confident in working with our systems - and ensuring they meet the design specification.

“The performance of any aluminium system ultimately depends on the fabrication and installation process. Our GQA-accredited training is designed to support fabricators and installers in developing an enhanced understanding of the systems to support accuracy and ease of use.”

Alongside the GQA course, Reynaers also provides a series of free ‘R’ module training courses covering product training, digital tools support, fabrication guidance and site visits.

Guest added: “By investing in training, we are helping to ensure Reynaers systems are installed as intended, supporting performance, compliance and long-term reliability on every project.”

The course is delivered at Reynaers’ Knowledge Centre in Birmingham and is available on selected dates throughout May and June 2026.
