Construction is underway for Church Farm, the new housing development located in the traditional village of Swinderby. Situated between Lincoln and Newark, the residential housing development will be equipped with The Residence Collection's premium doors and windows, and installed by CH Glazing Limited.
Due for completion in 2027, the project with Peter Sowerby Homes consists of over 200 properties which have been designed to reflect charm, quality and quintessentially English character. The developers were looking for high-end, timber-alternative designs, an area in which The Residence Collection specialises. Supplied and manufactured by Dekko Window Systems, The Residence Collection’s doors and windows combine traditional aesthetics with heritage-inspired styles, making them the ideal choice to complement the new homes and enhance their classic appeal.
Church Farm will feature a choice of thatched cottages, sophisticated rows of almshouses and a variety of distinctive designs inspired by traditional villages. The Residence Collection supplied a number of colour choices for the Residence 7 windows, consisting of Grained White, Clotted Cream, Painswick/Chalk White and Eclectic Grey on Chalk White.
Paul Needham at CH Glazing Limited commented: “Being appointed by Dekko Window Systems to install the windows for the Church Farm housing development in Swinderby was a really exciting project to be part of. The windows fitted in each home needed to be installed to a high standard. We ensure they are properly sealed, secure and aligned, helping homeowners get the most from their properties.”
Dekko Windows Systems Limited manufactured over 100 Residence 7 windows using Timberweld jointing technology, and over 25 French doors. Their role played a significant part in the project, ensuring the doors and windows were built to the correct specifications before they reached the installer. Dekko made sure the finished doors and windows delivered the performance, security, durability and appearance expected by the new homeowners of Church Farm.
Kurt Greatrex, Managing Director at Dekko Window Systems, commented: “Working with Peter Sowerby Homes and CH Glazing in the past meant we’d already established a great relationship with both teams, making the process of manufacturing and installing the new doors and windows in each home smooth and easy.”
Jo Trotman, Marketing Manager at The Residence Collection, commented: “We are so excited that The Residence Collection’s products will feature in the new housing development in Swinderby. It’s a large-scale project, but we’re confident that Church Farm will embody the timeless character and elegance of traditional English design with our premium doors and windows.
“Our advanced Residence 7 system is created to outperform with a sophisticated seven-chamber design and intelligent features. Not only will our windows and doors perform to the highest standard, but they will also create beautiful, visually appealing exteriors for every property at Church Farm.”
